Got it painted from the doors on back. The even replaced the rubber strip outside the windows. Had the mirror painted, only cost me $36.
The PKE doesnt work, the door locks don't, and the light on the drivers door doesn't. I will go ahead and remove the door panel myself to see if I can find the paroblem. Probably did not conned the wires completely for the locks.
Now for the important question.
What is the best way, short of painting, to get the hood to look as good as the rest of the car. It has a lot of very minor scratches in the clear coat. I have an electric buffer. Just need some advice.
If the doors are new paint and the hood is old, unfortunately I think you are gonna be hard pressed to get the two to match perfectly. Even if they used the exact color it is very difficult to get paints to match exactly. For this reason you'll often see a paint shop blend a panel to transition new paint to old paint. This way you don't see a distinct line between the two paints.
