Update on Throttle issues on 86

Short version: While driving, I could take my foot off the gas and shift gears, I could take my foot off the gas at practicly any speed and it would remain at speed. took the throttle body off & cleaned it up, put it back on and readjusted IAC and stuff, this was no help. took vette to dealership, they said it was the throttle cable, got one replaced it and there was a noticable difference but not enough, it would still idle at 12 to 14. by this time it was due for a tune up.
took it to vette shop. high idle issue was resolved by replacing IAC pigtail. This uncovered other issues, 3 temp sensor errors. All 3 temp sensors were good...this points to bad ground which turns out to be in the ECM. after ECM is replaced, idle, IAC & everything had to be tuned back down, was now way too high. Finally got copies of maint record from dealership where vette was purchased from. Found that engine has been replaced with crate engine at dealer. Looks to be that the grounding problem was from crossed wires from temp sensor to ECM & most if not all issues stemmed from improper installation and setup after engine replacement.
