4+3 trans
On the overdrive unit, right behind the filler plug and slightly up, there is a plastic fitting in the housing with an electric plug on it. I'm guessing this is where the OD gets it's signal to kickdown at WOT.
It has a very slight oil leak at it.
Can anyone tell me what holds this plastic piece in place and is there an "O" ring on it to stop leakage?

correct, it is the feed to the OD sol. .....it is puhed in from the outside, it has 3-4 expandable lock tabs on it and it has an O ring. If you replace it I suggest you get a repalcement as they become brittle and break upon removal. It is a piece that was shared with a number of auto trans, I think this may be the part number 24205373...about $5.00

Thanks for the info Frank ... 24205373 is a good number, my local Chevy dealer is getting it for me.
