a/c went out and light flashes!! WTH?
My a/c wentout today, haven't been using it much lately, as it's kinda cool... So I went to use the a/c today and I pushed the button(electronic air) and the green light just flashes off and on and the compressor never even kicked in. Would this be a problem with the compressor or the electronic control unit??

I think you might be low on freon. The flashing light is a safety signal that your AC has a problem.If you have low freon pressure your compressor won't kick on. :chevy

If i'm low on freon, doesn't that mean there is a leak somewhere in the system? And if so, where would those places prone to leaks be?

could be a leak, there can be many places it can leak:bad lines, bad compressor seals or bearings, or loose connections-best to have some dye put in when you recharge it and check it
