Default LT1 fuelrail crossover

I'm going to eventually go with an LT4 intake and was wondering if I can use my fuelrails from my 92 and have a shop install a front crossover. The price for the 94-96 fuelrails is too damn high. :steering:

I know what you're saying about the price - I just about fell off the chair when I heard $250.00 per side! I'm looking at my '94 fuel rail now and I'm not sure if you'll be able to bend it without disturbing the flanges on the insides of both rails...
You may want to call around to some vette salvage shops or try EBay first. I'd hate to get that thing mounted up and have gas spray all over!
Good luck! :)

Get it from a salvage yard or Ebay. No need to buy new unless you really want it new. Find an F-body complete intake take off unit and then sell all the stuff you don't want. Might end up being free that way......

Hi Ransome, I was looking at the GM Performance Parts LT1 to LT4 conversion kit. They say I need a 94-95 fuel rail. Is this what you are talking about?

F body rails receive the fuel lines from the driver side as opposed to y body and passenger side. Anybody know if you can bend them to correct side or make them work period?

You might want to check this. When I was getting the quote for the fuel rail, I asked Jeff Kopp if I could use one off of an F-Body car. He looked up the part numbers and told me that the fuel rails were in fact different between the F-Body vehicles and the Vette.

Tom, yep that's it. I'm pretty sure you can use the earlier rails, but the front crossover helps to equalize the pressure between the two sides. Kevin, the camaro unit is setup for the fuel lines to come in from the drivers side. I'm not sure if that can be changed. :steering:
