SOFT TRANS SHIFTS....
WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MY 94 LT-1 AUTO TRANS TO GET FIRMER SHIFTS BETWEEN GEARS... HAS 3:07's .. HAS 45,000 MILES...RUNS GREAT BUT THE SHIFTS SEEM SOFT TO ME...ANY THOUGHT HERE..?

This may not be a popular answer but I used a hypertech PPIII. It firmed up the shifts, it gives you an option to change shift points and I can turn my fans on earlier. It will not give any noticeable power gains but I feel it was worth the investment for what I use it for. :cheers:

Indeed the 4L60E in your Vette has programmable shift points and shift firmness.
If reprogramming doesn't give the desired results you may want to have some tranny mods done like a shift kit and/or higher output pump.
