Thanks to all of you that have hepled with this project. especially caboboy for the long distance phone calls and links to chaos on wheels. My father posted this topic several weeks ago for me, even though I am on the forum at least once a day I rarley participate in any of the discussions, well without the forum I'm not sure I would have been able to complete this project. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU AGAIN AND ESPECIALLY MANY THANKS TO MY DAD.
Tim, it was great meeting you on the phone!
I knew you'd get yours done before me, but I'm getting close too. I hooked up with Chaos this weekend and he had his top on......now I am all jazzed again to get mine done.
89 and up comes with all the correct brackets and attachment points for the hardtop straight from the factory, in 87 the hardtop had not even been developed yet so therefore nothing is the same. trust me it's whole different ball game. but like I said before it was well worth all the time and effort.
Got it. Learn something new everytime I log in to this forum. Great site.
I lucked out when I came across the hardtop for sale in one of the local papers. I thought all C4's came with it as an option.
Hey Caboboy! My hardtops on too! Thanks for your help!
The Stef-- You will have to make a few modifications. they're fairly easy. The hard part is rounding up all the parts you will need to make it bolt on.
