On the drivers seat, left arm support, theres a huge tear in the leather, you can see the foaming, and recently the lower back support has gotten alot of cracks and even a tear, I've been dying to get this replaced so I looked in Mid-America and replacement leather set for my seats is $899! I was just wondering if any of you had any other suggestions as of what I should do or even if theres a cheaper place I can go to, Thanks alot :party:

Since I too own a 35th Anniversary I would say don't replace the leather seat covers with anything but OEM style leather & foam. I have tried one of the leather repair kits but couldn't get the color match right, nor did the repair hold up.
Meanwhile, if you drive your Vette mostly alone, swap the driver & passenger seats.
My driver seat had some tears in the leather so I did the swap since I usually don't have a passenger.

Try ebay. I just bought a brand new set of leather seat covers mounted on foam for only $700 (the deal of a lifetime, they are normally around $1,100), and I regularly see another seller offering leather seat covers for $569. I just installed my new seat cushions today, they are fantastic.

Got a complete interior package form mid america...seat leather installed on foam ...they look just like the originals...very happy with their quality control other than the corvette name is not stiched in the headrest...can't even tell there not factory...good luck.. :chevy
