The starter just clicks but when i charge the battery it will run for a while but then the car will stall and the battry willbe dead but i just replaced the alternatot and battery i think something might kill it while the car is off.

:bb doesn't sound like fuel pressure :bb

Generally, it takes a direct short IMHO to kill the battery like this. When you get it running, what does the voltmeter indicate?

A bad alternator can do this. ou say you replaced the alternator..what caused you to replace it and what did you replace it with?

Same questions about battery!

Not sure I am helping

I bet you got a bad alternator....I have seen new alternators that are bad out of the box! :smash: Check to see that you have 14 volts while running. Also make sure you battery connections are tight! You also might have a dead cell in your battery....I think you bought a bad alternator!!!Good luck!

:iagree:

Tell us what your dash voltmeter reads when its idling and the RPM's start to drop. Should be at or near 14volts. I recently had a similar problem. I rebuilt my alternator and all is well now. :D

Ensure the battery terminal connectors are free of corrosion and are tight. Even with a new battery corrosion on connectors will give the symptoms your describing. Clean the connector bolt threads with a wire brush and soak in a water/baking soda solution. LOL
