the 82 to 85 l98's with the forged pistons rods and cranks are just screeming for forced induction right from the factory but as you can see there's more to it than just throwing a blower on............
i knew the 85 had forged pistons, but are you sure the crank is forged ???

I was told by Mr. Nuke that a GM engineer told him that the whole bottom end of those years were forged....I've searched but have come up with nothing to verify.....he also has an 85.......maybe he'll jump in here.
