Hi, hope someone can help. Car runs and idles fine when its cranked up for the first time of the day. However, after driving it awhile and after shutting down and restarting, it cuts off at idle and at very low speeds. happens like clockwork. any ideas? thanks!!
I had a similar issue with my CROSSfire and it turned out to be rectified with a tune up (plugs, cap, rotor and coil and O2 sensor) as well as a fuel filter...It was running a bit rough and after exiting the highway and turning it off...it would not want to start....May also want to look at the fuel Pump and filter sock on it....
Do yourself a favor- if you go into the tank to take a peek...put an 85 Vette Fuel pump and new fuel strainer in it...it will be like a whole new car!
The crossfire site mentioned above is a great place to get info on the Crossfire...
Thanks for the help guys. I've got the next few days off and hope to use the time to try all of your recommendations and put the problem to rest. Happy New Year!! :smash:
