CATS OFF DIFFERANT THROTTLE RESPONSE???
I recently took the cats off my 94 LT1 ...A4 because of an 02 issue....I know my plugs was proablly fouled with running the lean condition for about three weeks......my question is the difference the throttle feels.....man it really take a lead foot to mash that gas pedal in .... the car reacts difference in that I do notice low end loss.....but the feel is that she has power but is slower...besides the plugs being changed soon....do you think the lean condition fouled something else like throttle body....IAC...????? or is this throttle response normal for running without cats????????

The cats are the biggest restriction in the c4 exhaust system. My bet is that removign them youve lost most of the backpressure. This means it will make more power... but higher up in the rpm range and lose a little bottom end torque.
