Starting after long time-Help
I just bought an 84 and I am trying to start it. I am pretty sure it is not getting any gas. It cranks and tries to start, then I put some gas in the intake and it starts firing and stops.
I am thinking fuel pump, or bad injectors.
This is my first project car, usually paid people, now I am going to do the work myself.
Any ideas or suggestions? What should I do first? :confused: :(

check to see if the fuel pump is working turn the key on but do not start you should hear the eletric fuel pump turn on for 2-3 seconds it makes like a hmmmm sound.
