Re: Put anti seize stuff on o2 sensor threads???? (froggy47)
 Anti-seize on O2 sensor is factory recommended
As to other areas: Spark plugs: exhaust system clamps and flanges...generally speaking, any bolts that are subject to water and corrosion, except bolts where maintaining torgue is imperative...this would include brake caliper brackets, sway bar fasteners and other areas where a "thread lock" should be used.
Kind of think about it..as a general rule I apply anti seize to things I want to remove fairly regulary and thread lock (red for brake caliper brackets, blue for all else) to parts that are subject to shock and vibration, that I really don't want to even get a little loose.
I'm annal, I tighten eveything I can find/see at least once a year.
Re: Put anti seize stuff on o2 sensor threads???? (froggy47)
I just re-did mine as well..I had the exhaust down and had to remove the O2 sensor temporarily and notice the old antiseize on the threads was about gone so I put a little more back on.Never hurts and really makes future removal a breeze.
:)

There is a special one you use for O2 sensors. It contains microscopic pieces of glass. This help to prevent it from seizing.
A new OEM sensor already has this coating on it.
I have re-installed O2 sensors without anti-sieze. Did not have an issue getting it back off.
