rim offset question
i would love to put a set of 11" rear rims on my 96 but i do not want them to stick out past the fender lip and i do not care for the fender flare like the grand sports sooooo my question is will the 38mm offset for the 84-88 cars work on the rear of a 96 and if they will fit, will the 18mm difference in the offset cause the rim to sit in the fenderwell or will it cause it to stick out even more? if they will sit back in the fenderwell is there a clearance problem on the backside?

I put the GS offset, Replica ZR1's on my 94 and they fit great. They don't stick outside of the fender well, or ever touch in hard cornering. I bought the entire set on the Internet from AAARims with tires mounted. The TA KD's are great around corners as well. Front tires are 275/40 17's, and backs are 315 /35 17's.

84-87 should use the +36mm offset, 88-96 should use the 50mm offset.
The tires will stick out ever so slightly even with the 50mm offset, but not bad at all (everyone uses these).
If you put the +36mm offset on a 88-96 (non-zr1 vette) they will stick out quite a bit..
