I'm talking about the exhaust tips! I installed a Corsa cat-back, it went really easy but at the end, one pair of tips (pass side) is about 3/4 inch lower than the driver side.
I'm not saying tilted left/right, that's easy to fix. I think the tips (as they exit the muffler) are welded at more of an angle, it's hard to say now that it's all installed.
My Borla catbacks were higher on the pass side all other things being equal. One of the things the muffler guy did niceley was to heat them up and bend the tips behind the muffler to even them up. As I recall, it seemed to me that the stock ones were not symetrical coming off the muffler either, but were straight when mounted.
Damn, I was checking my shorts before I read the contents of your post :jester
My exhaust is in need of alignment aswell :smash:
Can the bracket be cut and rewelded to your specs
It's adjustable by positioning the pipe in front of the muffler. Rotating that pipe where it meets the resonator will adjust the height of the front of the muffler, which will adjust the angle of the tips.
