where to buy shorty headers
i'm lookin for a set of quality shorty headers. need them in order to use my cutouts still. i want them to be coated. no need for air crap either. any ideas where to get em? thanks

There are some on ebay right now. Do a search for corvette headers.

SLP makes a set of SS coated headers. These are about the best fitting shorties available. They sell for about $560 from SLP not including any mounting hardware or gaskets.

I was going to buy some shorties from EM, coated at 495$ http://www.exoticmuscle.com that was untill the GP on long tubes.

That's WAY too much for no more performance than shorties provide. There's a coated set on ebay at a buy now price of, I think, $266.

I have a set of Hooker 2061-1 ceramic coated shorties for sale. These headers have less than 2000 miles on them.

Don't waste your money on those cheap ($266), noncoated, Pacesetter headers on ebay. Get either the SLP's, Hookers, or Exotic Muscle brands. I've heard nothing but bad news on the Pacesetters.

Dont pay too much for them, they dont really help much. Since we dont have emissions I wouldnt think twice about buying them.
Another guy at CU had a set on his 93 that I heard once, along with Power Effects, sounded good but I bet it was mostly the PE.

I thought you sold your headers? Otherwise I would have posted to PM you if I had known they were still available :) STL9LT1 is correct, stay away from them Pacesetter headers they are El-Cheapo units.
