I don't have headers so I'm only going by what I've read on here. I believe that Hooker redesigned the y-pipe at some point due to the older ones not fitting properly. From what I've read the newer designed y-pipes fit pretty good.

Mine has a mis-alignment of @ 12mm, I am in the process of cutting the pipe to relax it so I can bolt it on with the proper alignment, then I will reweld the gap so that the headers are not "squeezed" towards each other as they are now.
