4+3 OD Unit acting up
Today on the way home I went to manually turn off the OD as I was getting off the exit ramp and it wouldent turn off, the switch is "clicking" but no OD turning off, it works like it should in traffic and stuff, downshifting when you get on it and turning off when I come to a complete stop or put it in first...just wont go off manually with the switch, any ideas

Dont realy know, but mine was doing the same thing and now works fine. It fixed itself somehow. Might be a sillinoid/sensor problem. But after i put my new exhaust on it worked ( no relation, but somewire or something may have got hit). You should look under your car and check the connections and sutch. And if no sutch luck bring the car to a transmition shop.

With my Car my "mechanic" replaced the Overdrive Switch located below shifter (just below leather boot). Problem still remained. The next place he looked was electrical connection to Overdrive Unit. TA DA!!! connection was fowled, he cleaned the plug and connection, handed me the original overdrive switch ALONG with a bill for $ 65.00! It's definately a DIY.

That's definitely not a problem with the overdrive unit itself. So you're in for a cheap fix. :thumbs:

Mine was doing the same thing. Turns out there's a 'zip tie' holding the wire to the shifter under your leather shifter boot. That zip tie was way too tight and the wire broke. I re-wired and put a new zip tie on, but much looser.
