Jet-Hot wanted $305 to coat my $172 Heddman Headers. They are insane!!!
Log on to Eastwood Company and get their Stainless Steel header paint. A couple of coats for $14 or so and it looks great.
Ceramic coated headers are the biggest rip-off you can put on your car next to the airfoil, IMO.

Big Jim, first of all your paint will burn off in a few months if it's the best out there, sooner if it's cheapo. The inside of the header is where the rust starts and destroys your headers. A well done ceramic coating inside and out protects them from this. Now if you want to replace your headers every other year, go ahead and buy some $5 paint and enjoy. Oh, your $172 Hedmans won't last very long, painted or not. :boxing
Strick is right on the money. If one followed Big Jim54's advice, they would damn sorry. Sorry Big Jim, but you're dead-eyed wrong on this one :( I spent some good time polishing my butt while while researching this issue, and one thing is for sure - those Hedmans are garbage, they're built on the cheap because they ARE cheap, they'll be warping before your nice paint job will be sweating rust all over the place.

Jet Hot did mine for only $200. Now I do live close enough to drop them off and pick up, so maybe the extra $105 was shipping? I love how mine turned out, still look like when I picked them up from them.
