Re: Any preferred N2O system for a L98? (Beach Dude)
if you are running a TPI i always ran the 5151 NOS kit from NOS. It is a wet system and with proper tunning you can make good power... here is my run back 2 years ago with a 150hp shot on a stock L98 Motor...I dropped 2 full seconds...but keep in mind i had Headers, exhaust, cut air filter and 24# injectors.

I don't think so, you have to make sure the nitrous and fuel lines fit the throttle plate and the fuel line fits to your shrader valve, which I doubt will fit especially if it is a carb kit. I would just buy the TPI kit, I had it on my car for a while, I loved it until it blew my trans! Great way to make power, you just have to be safe about it. The only thing thats bad is when the bottle runs out!

I am sure you can use the TPI plate, most nitro systems use standard size lines. I think the ones on the plate are #4 size. If they are smaller, you can drill them out. You can also get the NOS wet system fogger for like $20, it is a fogger nozzle that sprays fuel and NOS wherever you tap it into. I have the 5151 kit and I think its a well designed kit for the TPI systems. Its also priced right. I will run this as long as I can, if the solenoids fail, I will replace them with Nx ones. I have heard that Nx noids are the best, but their kit costs 3-4 hundred more.
Aside from the bottles and noids, basic nitrous kits are just a bunch of standard lines, fittings, wires, relays, and switches. You can piece one together if you want to choose the best of breed.
I have the 5151 kit, and recommend it for newcomers. Just get a bottleheater and a bottler gauge.

Looking to possibly add a basic Nitrous system for my daily driver. Any suggestions for a particular system? Thanks in advance. :steering:
I went with the "Zex" dry 75 shot kit, very simple to hook up and the system manages it's self pretty much, it read's the fuel presure and the bottle presure and adjust it's self, so you'll tend not to run to rich or lean.
Picture before I installed the purge line's and cylinoid.
