Need opinions on RockAuto.com...
A fellow forum member pointed me towards this site, they seem to have a huge inventory and cheap prices. I'm getting a clutch master cyl for my vette, and some other parts for my other car.
How much do these guys charge for shipping, it's not like GMPartsDirect, is it? This confirm order button looks like the point of no return.
"RockAuto does not offer any warranty of our own--all product warranties come from the manufacturer of the product. So for full warranty information, please contact the manufacturer directly (highlighted product names on this page are links to the manufacturer website). "

CC, to answer your question, there is no adjustment, the pin I refer to is where the clutch master cyl. push rod connects to the clutch pedal, be sure to get the proper size push rod when you order it. measure it first, hard to get up there but it's worth the time.

Thanks for the tip Frank. When I do get em, I'll buy from RockAuto. I ended up getting my Ford alternator at Autozone though, they had a better price for the 100 amp units.

Have you already provided payment info like a credit card number? Usually I'll click a confirm button if I haven't given them any info on how to get payment from me, if I think maybe it'll include shipping pricing.

I bought a power brake booster from them. When I ordered it, I actually spoke with a customer service person. I found them to be very helpful, good prices, and I'd certainly buy from them again. I had my booster two days later - I think it was sent UPS. Sorry, but I don't remember anything about shipping other than it didn't seem as though they marked the shipping cost up.

Rock Auto is awesome for prices and shipping, by I did a side by side comparison when I bough distributor parts for my truck and GM parts direct came in cheaper overall, mind you it was only 85 cents, but it was cheaper.
Rock Auto ships through Fed Ex and you get your stuff pretty quick.
I use Rock Auto for part # lookups then order from GM Parts Direct.

I buy all my parts from Superior Chevrolet. Chris May is the contact person and Corvette Forum members receive discounts. Shipping is very fast and cheap. The phone number is 800-728-8267. Just my $.02
I just looked up a Waterpump for my 91 and i saw an ACDelco for like $61 and I saw one on GM direct the other day for like $118, it cant be the same thing.
Must be a rebuilt, but it doesnt say, and I dont want a rebuilt pump of any kind in my Vette :nono: :nono:

I've bought lots of stuff from them... all with very good prices, and delivered quick. Almost every car in my household have parts ordered from them: '90 Jaguar, '94 Seville, '86 & '87 Corvette.
