Default VACUM LINE HELP PLEASE !

Please help with this question/problem. I posted last week about needing a vacum line routing for a vacum line that I broke while tuning the 87, many thanks to you guys that responded. My problem is I still can't find a diagram for the underhood hvac routing, if someone could go look at their L98 to actually give some idea of at least where to look. The line that I broke comes from the vacum ball located at the lt. frt bumper area, this line runs along the lt. inner fender and then up to the engine it then splits, one line has a check valve and leads to the plenum on the rt side at the rear the other line appears to run behind the distributor and then????????? This is line I can't figure out, so I would really appreciate help on this.

Back by the dist. one line goes to Fuel pres reg. 2 go up to the plenum, one of these runs back down in to firewall and splits off to cruise control. This is from memory, if it doesnt help email me and Ill go out to the car and take a look. :chevy (at the front by the thermostat you should have a EGR switch that sends a line back to the egr also but your troublemaker seems to be the one going to the firewall and cruise)

I think there's a diagram underhood on the fan shroud. There was on my '86, but I haven't checked my '88 for it.

Also, Scorp sent me a vacuum diagram that was pretty good. I don't have it anymore, but I'm sure he can email you the pic.

I stand corrected, last night when I got home I looked at the line again. The line does "t" off and go to the cruise control however, the line that continues to the engine does split again that is where my problem is. The split there is where the check valve is and leads to the plenum, the line to the right of the split is the one I need help with. The problem is I may need ask one of you guys to remove your distributor cover to see where that line goes. This line is hard plastic and it actually looks like it has a factory bend to form around the distributor itself, I don't know for sure but that's what it looks like to me. The diagram that's on the radiator support is strictly for the engine & emissions vacum not the HVAC system. Thank you again for all you that's trying to help me with this problem.

That line goes through the firewall behind the distributor. It's broken on mine too.

You should be able to splice it with rubber. Its probably hiding under plug wires. :chevy

That hard line goes thru the firewall with the big wiring harness. Yes, it's for the vacuum actuators inside the dash- to direct air to windshield, vents, floor, etc.

Pretty much just make sure all vacuum lines connect to the ports in the rear of the plenum somehow; use whatever fittings/adapters you need...

Thanks to all of you for your help, I will try to find the line tonight. I installed my camber brace this weekend and while working on that project I looked for the line again from the bottom side but of course no luck. Many thanks to all of you again I will update you with the progress.
