engine damage from Bosch spark plugs

engine damage from Bosch spark plugs
has anyone experienced the center electrode of a bosch platinum spark plug disentegrating/falling out while installed. My son's car ran fine for 75 miles then started running roughly and when I pulled the plugs I found one with a missing center electrode. Imagine my surprise.

no, not myself, but i could be made to believe ive read that before. and i know ive read alot about people not liking the bosch plugs (mainly the +4 ones)

I have a freind that had the same thing happen with Bosch plugs, Messed the head up on his Mazda and Bosch won't do anything about it. :reddevil

I've run the +4's in a couple different vehicles (including the Vette) with no problems at all.
Doesn't mean that Bosch didn't have a bad batch go through the process though.

I used the +2(i think) Bosch in my truck and the same thing happend to me. The truck ran s@#@ty, pulled a plug and there wasnt even an electrode on it. But all the others were fine. So i just got rid of all of them together to avoid a problem.
