Brain freeze, D'oh!
Putting my camber brace on this afternoon and suddenly realized that i failed to note to placement of the heavy washers on the control arm. (Not the alignment shims) one is 3 times thicker than the other. Which goes on the inside and which is outside? :banghead:
Guess this is what I get for wrenching in winter in MI. Brain Freeze!
(as opposed to brain fart :skep: )
So if anyone would be so kind as to pop their hood for a moment.

Sorry I can't open my hoods, cars are outside under covers, covered in snow.
Damn Wisconsin winter.

those big thick washers?
easy... they are washers... feed the bolt, insert any alignment shims and then those thick washers and the nuts.
the taper goes toward the car, the big area, to the nut.

ffvetteman do you keep your vette outside undercover every winter?
I was considering doing that this year. because it's in the way from a dead optispark.
As I have a two car garage , but one side has my "project 69 firebird convertible" and i need the other bay to work on family cars.hence no room for vette this year! did you have any issues in the spring with car?
