Turn Signal... some observations.
I went into my steering column today to change my turn signal switch... lemme define the problem...
Last weekend, my signal broke. it would turn left, but not manually cancel. It would self cancel. There was no right signal.
I assumed this meant that the turn signal switch broke. But it WAS NOT the turn signal... it is the wiper switch!
The wiper switch body has 2 metal rails on it. Those rails carry a pin from a metal bracket attached to the signal itself. The bottom rail busted off!
Now, I gotta go back into the column and remove the damned switch... and it's even deeper into the column than the turn signal!
Since I am going THAT deep, I will also replace the tilt wheel pins.

well... I just learned that there are 2 versions of the column... and I need to get a number off of it so I can order the right tilt reman kit...
the wiper switch is $112.00... the tilt kit, about $20.00...
