I'm not into the audio side, but my wife said no more drives till the radio works. I don't like the looks of after market single din units and haven't had much luck with durability on my kids cars with them. Will any other late model GM radio fit in a 90'? It's a bose, but nothing works now (speakers are seriously melted down, no cheap fixes there).
Are the speakers or the amps dead? Speakers can be replaced with non Bose speakers.
I did in mine and didnt have any trouble. Just make sure you put something in there rated
at 4 ohms or less..
The speakers are certainly shot. Not sure about the head unit, cause it just blows fuses now.
The reason I was asking about using a head unit from another gm car, is I like the bigger buttons and simplicity of oem units. Plus, I could get a junkyard caddy or buick radio if it would fit.
