My 85 coupe L98 engine starts ok when cold. But when up to temperature the engine is hard to start after being shut off for 15 minutes or more. I am able to start the engine by depressing the accelerator about 1/2 way. If I stall the engine (4+3 tranny) it will start immediately. I have checked most of the connectors and have jiggled the wirers. Any thoughts and approaches?
Mine does the same thing, I am going to do the fuel pump relay, do a good tune-up and if thats not it i suppose I will checi the injectors, they could be leaking down fuel pressure once that car is off a few min

This is on the tech tip section, it might be a good idea to try this first.
Another tip from a Gordon Killebrew lecture during Corvettes at Carlisle 2001. Say your L98 starts right up after sitting for a long while, such as overnight, but is hard to start after sitting for a little while. Before trying to start it, hold the accelerator to the floor for a brief period and release it. If the engine then starts right up it's a sign that an injector may be leaking, causing a flooding condition. Holding the throttle plates open allows some of the excess fuel vapors to escape, which removes some of the accumulated excess fuel and makes the engine easier to start.
Hard startups when warm is usually an injector failure, hook up a pressure gauge at the fuel rail and shut the car off, the pressure should hold a good while.
If it drops, one or more is leaking into the cylinder. If that happens you can either replace all 8 or have all 8 sent to Rich at CruzinPerformance for cleaning. You MUST do all 8, if ones bad the rest will follow.
I actually have a hard starting problem myself at times.
I'll probably have all the injectors replaced sometime this summer.
Can any one recommend a particular brand of injectors? and I already know about the ford injectors, but the word ford, and them being pink doesn't really sound or look good.
