4+3 Shift shaft seals replacement

Well Scorp said it was easy so I said what the heck...

I had small drops of oil coming out of the two shift shaft seals on the 4+3 side cover,, so I took the side cover off and pressed two new seals in, cost @ $8.00 for two seals at NAPA or AUTOZONE.

This is what the side cover looks like on the back side.

Nice work. :) Now through a new cover seal on. Just don't let the little spring and ball bearings fly out from the middle there. :D

Done! All back together, new seals and gaskset so baby will have a dry bottom! Simple project for sure! :seeya :thumbs:

:cool: Although my leaks are coming from the damn gear switches. RTV hasn't helped. :banghead:
