I'm experiencing a vibration that starts at about 52-55MPH. I'm not sure if it's driveline or out of balance wheel/tires. Is there a simple way to tell? The steering wheel doesn't vibrate or wobble. I also notice a 'clunk' from the rear when making turns at slow speeds.
your u-joints are shot,, I will bet on it... I had the same problem a couple months ago ,,, I replaced the all, and havent had a problem since
OK, I guess I'll try the simple first; I'll get the wheels balanced then go after the U Joints. What U Joints did you use '1990 Corvette'? My vette is a 95, are the U Joints the same?
I've only owned the car a couple months so I expected to replace U Joints, hoses, etc. Anything else you guys can think of that should get immediate attention after buying a vette from a Ford fan?
