Maf / Injector Limits
I am getting ready to install a supercharger to run low boost (4-5 pounds) on an 87 vette.
What is the limit of the maf and the 22 lb injectors?
Will the computer automatically supply fuel from the Maf signal?
Will the Maf be maxed out already?
Do I need larger injectors and if so do I just change the injector constant to compensate? I would like to stay away from the PE tables if possible.
I could use an FMU but I was told the standard FMU's don't do much until over 5lbs of boost and I would need a spring loaded fmu when running low boost.
Is that true?

The MAF will max out at 255 gm/sec and the stock injectors will supply fuel for about 330chp.
With 4-5lbs boost on a stock L98 (~300chp) you should be fine as the ECM will compensate for increased fuel flow though you will need an AFPR to take care of WOT air flow as the ECM ignores the O2 sensor at WOT.
