Default Sensors for replacing cats

Ive got a 96 lt4 and i want to make my car a little louder, so i have a couple of questions. Ive got a set of flowmasters and straight pipe in place of the resonator, but its still not loud enough. Long tubes are out of my budget, so i wanted to put straight pipe in place of the cats.

What sensor (how much and where can i get some) will i need to make sure i wont throw a code?

Will this affect low end power and torque?

How much louder will it make my car (the louder the better, dont care about resonance)?

Breathless Performance Products has these:
"Item 100-229: O2 Simulators (Set of 2)
O2 Simulators
96 & Up Corvettes, Camaro & Firebird
For those of you eliminating your catalytic converters for an increase 15HP & 25 Ft/lbs. Of Torque.
Our O2 Simulators lets you remove your catalytic converter without triggering any trouble codes.
PRICE: $199.99"
These are post cat O2 simulators, the pre cat O2's will stay in their stock positions.

Any other LT4 owners have any comments on this setup or where to buy sensors? I think $200 for a couple of sensors is rather expensive.

Summit Racing $89 get the ones for the Impala. The 96 has the flat plug. I have some on my 96 after headers threw a code. These are made by Casper Electronics they have a site. Do a Google search. Hope this helps.... :seeya

I actually called Casper Electronics a while back, told them my situation, and said they only made the sensors for high flow cats, not for straight pipe. I dont know whether or not they said this for legal reasons though. So the impala sensors will not throw a code?

No codes now. They fool the ECM. Just make sure you get the flat connector. I ordered a set and got the square had to return.
