I know I've seen this topic before but search came up with nothing so I'll ask anyway. Code 32 is suposed to be the EGR valve but I've heard of other things setting it as well. What are they?
On my 88 the code 32 is triggered by the EGR temp switch located on the exhaust riser on the rear passenger side of the engine. The center pin backed out. This switch is what the computer uses to determine if exhaust is flowing through the EGR valve.
Brookman,
This has nothing to do with the code 32. I just want to know what the temp. was today in Chandler. We just got another 8 inches of snow here and I am begging my company to send me back out to Williams Gateway airport where we work on occasion. I was there last Feb. to prep. one of our helicopters to go to Nowra, Australia for an air show. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!
My ext temp sensor in my car said 47 this morning at 5 am and 65 on the way home at 2:30.
My ext temp sensor in my truck said 12 this morning at 4:45 am and 24 at 2:30 pm. I start work at 6 am and I'm usually standing under spinning rotor blades for a few minutes to get the first flight off on time. At 12 degrees temp with approx. 30 mph downwash from the rotors, it really wakes you up!
