Ihave a question before I buy these do they bolt right up to were my old headman headers bolt up to or do I need the y pipe that use to be on with the original exhaust manifold's. Also do they come with built in holes for the O2 sensor's.Thanks
2149's will have a single O2 sensor in the #7 (or #5) tube. They need the y-pipe partnumber suggested by hooker to mate to the catalytic converter. You just may have to trim the length to match.
The hookers have a 3" 3 bolt flange connecter. You'll have to ask someone how far back, but I would get both the header and the Y-pipe at the same time.

Yes, they bolt right up. The Driver's side will go in from the top with the oil filter removed. The Passanger's side one will go in from the bottom with the starter removed. The only problem I had was the Passanger side header catching on the edge of the cross brace, not allowing it to go up high enough to align the bolt holes. Minor grinding to the brace corner solved that.
The Hooker Y-pipe did not clear my transmission pan on my automatic 86. Just a heads up. Good luck.

I put both headers in from the bottom. I didn't have to remove the oil filter.
