Dash rattle ?
My dash is making a nice loud rattle. It is coming from the plastic cover for the gauge display. It appears that the top of it has been pushed back in a bit. There is a gap about 1/2" wide at the top, but if I follow the plastic around to the bottom edges, it is flush. If I wedge a napkin or somethign into the gap at the top, it stops rattling. Does anyone know an easy way to return my plastic gauge cover to its normal position? (Assuming it is pushed in... it IS pushed back in at the top isn't it?) I really don't want ot take my dash apart or anything. Thanks in advance...

Best bet is to take it apart... make sure none of the clips are broken,,, and a nice tip i just did on mine when i replaced the dash was all the dash connections i put a piece of the soft side of velcro between the dash and the clip.. made a nice fit and no squeaks or rattles at all.... also found that i had several cracked dash pieces so as good a time as any to repair.... :cheers:

I have the same problem. for now, I wedged a small folded piece of paper in the top between the plastic cover and dash. i should do a permanent fix, but i'm tackling other stuff at the moment.

Your best bet is to remove the gauge cluster bezel and see what's up.
The problem will likely become evident; if needed you can use some black foam behind the bezel to prevent plastic-to-plastic oontact.
