Default Need Gasket help before I continue.

I bought the felpro set of gaskets for the 90 upper intake runner set. As you can see, on the lower portion, the smaller more oval looking hole doesnt match up. Everything else fits perfectly. And the weird thing is that this gasket exactly matches the one I took off the car, so it had that same problem all along. Does it matter?? hopefully this pic turns out..

Sounds like you have the gaskets on the wrong side.

The intake manifold driver side has a oblong hole angled like 45 degrees in relation to the intake manifold.

The oblong hole on the passenger side is vertical to the intake manifold.

Those holes are for the EGR.

I agree with "Hooked" as those runner gaskets are very similiar and difficult to determine exactly where they go. Make sure you fit the gaskets with all the runners before you install the first gasket. Do this on a bench and you will get it right.
