Lower Alternator / AC
Thanks,

LT4 used in Lamborghini Diablo Replicar
I went to that web site and took a look at their on-line catalog. This was just what I was looking for. I will give them a call and determine which brackets will work best for my application.
Thanks again,
Chris
Would like pics of your project, c'mon share with the group.
(I think I hear the theme to 'Monster garage" in the background....) :D

My project is not real far along, it is my "spare time" project. I have a slightly modified LT4 (LT4 hot cam, radial valve job with double springs, intake ported and match by Exotic Muscle, who are local). I am mating it, mid-engine form, to a Porsche 911 (915) transaxle. I have the engine/transaxle in a custom cradle and in the car, but as stated above I have some clearance issues with the upper portion of the firewall (Alt & AC). Try this link. It should take you to a few pic's of my project.

84LT1,
That is an interesting thought to try out the F-Body accessory bracket. I took a look at an F-Body front end on the web and I'm not sure if it would work or not. I have plenty of room in the engine compartment on both the drivers and passengers side. Also, the lower I go on the engine, the more room I have. I just need to get the Alt and AC below the throttle body, regardless of which side. I don't need the PS, but was planning on using it, just to allow the use of the stock serpentine belt. Do you know if I will be able to use my stock Alt and AC with your bracket? What about the serpentine belt? I am assuming that my existing belt would not work, but the serpentine belt normally used with the F-Body should work. Do you know? By the way, what year F-Body was this bracket for, if you know? Would either the Alt or AC be higher than the bottom of the throttle body? In the picture I was looking at, the Alternator was above the throttle body.

Chris Thomas
