How do you know which suspension you have?
I have a 94 Coupe 6-speed, and I wanted to replace the shocks, but I understand that there was a base suspension and one called Z07. Is there any codes on the car, that would tell me which one I have? Where would I find such a code? Also...I know there are going to be a lot of different opinions on this... but does anyone have any recommendations of what kind of shocks to get? The car is used is not used on the track, but is driven "spiritedly" from time to time. :steering:

At least on my 85 was on the back of the rear storage compartment door, drivers side. Should list out all the RPO codes for your car. One of them will be your suspension, Z07, FE1, Z51, and the like....

You can also check under your console lid. You will be looking for one of the following:
Z51 Performance Handling
FE1 Suspension, Soft Ride
FE7 Suspension, Heavy Duty
FX3 Ride and Handling, Electronic
Z51 Performance Handling
FE1 Suspension, Soft Ride
FE7 Suspension, Heavy Duty
FX3 Ride and Handling, Electronic

rear storage compartment or console lid should have a white sticker with all the codes for the car affixed
