Default Crossfire performance cam?

Hi people, I haven't been here for almost a year, so I feel a little ashamed to ask for help from people I have ignored for so long:bb . I'm going to be pulling my L83 aprt shortly for a chain/waterpump/noisey lifter replacement so I figuered I may as well do a cam.Does anybody know a good cam that will work with a mostly stck crossfire? I was a member of the crossfire forum, but I haven't been on there in a year either so I've forgotten my password(ther're looking for it)so I can't peruse the files on the site yet. Nothing fancy just want some low end grunt and a crossfire that can hold it's own against an oxcart(haha).:jester :lolg:

You want to be careful of this one. *I* wouldn't go over 208*-214* duration @ .050". Keep your lsa as high as you can. Nothing less than 112*, and preferably, more. A longer duration cam makes power, where your Crossfire won't breathe. Also, longer duration reduces combustion pressures. That is something you don't have in excess with your 9.0:1 compression ratio. Consider porting your intake manifold, while it is off, too. Get re-established on the Crossfire Forum. There is lots of specific info, over there. Good luck, and...

RACE ON!!!
