Heater hose Tee fitting idea..
I noticed Blue Hi-miler heater hose kits are available. They would make a great worry free hose swap for my current hoses (who knows how old they are) that plumb up the oil cooler.
But theres the problem with the expensive hose Tee you have to buy from Gm. I think last I heard it was around ~$85, ouch.
So I went looking for a metal Tee fitting to substitute the GM hose. Found a nice stainless one at this site:

I just wonder if this is a worth while idea. Will it restrict the flow? Is it too rigid for the area of the engine compartment where it belongs? What size is the stock hose?
