The only reason I can see doing Shorties is for appearance... Those are dinged up and bent...

They arent worth it from the power stand point ill tell ya that much... I would tell you to do LTs, but I know you have to worry about emissions.... If thats the case, put teh stockers back on and not leaking, because you wont pass emissions with leaking exhaust either...

take it to a weld shop, have them cut out that section and weld in a new piece(s). 23 yrs. in that business-shouldn't be a problem.Good luck. :seeya

I heard that! Took me a couple years to save up the cash (in other words, convince the wife) for longtubes.
In the mean-time, you're just as well off keeping the stock manifolds on.
