remove door trim panel
disconnect wiring harness clip
remove screws and bolts attaching the inner plate to door assembly
disconnect the handle assembly actuator rod
remove the lock remote control rod by pushing the plate down and pulling out slightly to remove the clip
remove hte screws attaching the lock mechanism to the door frame
disconnect the lock cylinder-to-lock mechanism rod
lower the lock assembly, pushing the door lock handle rod back into the door.When the rod and lever are visible, disconnect the clip and rod.Remove the lock assembly from the door.
Remove the nuts and backing plate from the outside handle,disconnect the electrical connector and remove handle.
Installation is the reverse of removal procedure. :rolleyes:
