Anybody know if the Accel 24lb injectors are a direct replacement for the stock ones. Are they decent or are there better ones out there. Thinking about ordering a set, but need a little advice.

Re: ACCEL INJECTORS (90 Convertible)
Installed the Accels last year...ran them for 1/2 a day and put the old ones back in!!! They were terrible. I sent them back to the supplier and they gave me my $ back. I tore down my engine this year and sent my injectors to TPIS to get serviced and balanced...for $200 it's one of the best deals around in terms of getting the most out of your injectors.
Gee boys, I must have the only accel injectors that work in a vette, because mine are great, no trouble, they have not failed, and we're going on a year now (they will fail any day now, right?). :seeya

Nope, I'm the only one who has Accel injectors that work :D I have not had any issues with them either. I bought mine from cruzin twos years ago and trust his judgement and have not been disappointed.
Its amazing how many people complain about the Accels - wonder if they ever used them or are they just repeating something they "heard"... :skep:
Well, one of mine leaked at the rail because a splinter like piece of plastic flashing was underneath the upper O-ring - a problem that someone else on the Forum had also experienced and warned everyone about. Then, on my second trip around the block, the one on #7 stuck wide open which led me to find a longstanding leak in that head gasket. Now that I have 8 good ones, new heads, and what have you, it's humming along just fine - in fact better than it ever did on the multecs.
