Has anyone had this problem?
New member enjoying corvette forum very much, I have a problem I need help with.My 93 starts and runs fine cold, as soon as it reaches normal temperature it starts running very bad,feels like I'm puling a big trailer when I accelerate,misses,hesitates,backfires.I took it to dealer they said it was computer,still no change.I have a few mods,KN,160 thermo,hypertech,355 gears,no mufflers,60,000 miles.I'm thinking optispark,its original.Anybody have anyother ideas?

When you saw no mufflers does that mean you forgot or removed the O2 sensors in the front of the exhaust system? Might have to do with them. :flag

Any engine codes? My 92 had 44K on it when I replaced my optispark. It was a mess inside and I vented the new one.

I ment i removed mufflers and replaced with pipes everthing is intact.this problem arose much after all mods were made. :banghead: :banghead:

If it's idling roughly and you suspect ignition problems, clip a timing light onto a spark plug wire to see if the miss coincides with missed flashes.

Had similar symtoms on my 87 when maf sensor went bad.
I replaced relays and now the problem is intermittent and the car runs great as long as it doesn't get an "intermittent"! When it does, it runs like limp home, but as soon as I clear the code, it runs great again
