Sway bar links are hitting the frame? We are talking the vertical links sway bar to rear knuckles, correct?
Don't think worn bushings can or will cause that! Sounds like something may be seriously broken. There should be plenty of clearance between the sway bar links and the frame unless the bushings have come completely apart and the end of the sway bar is un attached

Sway bars cannot be repaired! they are a solid bar, runs from one side to the other! They control body/frame roll on acceleration or turns.
But you do have two control arms, upper and lower (commonly called Dog bones because they look like dog bones) these two arms control the swing of the axle and keep it in the right plane. These arms run front to rear, not side to side. The forward end attaches to the frame of the vehicle and the rearward end attaches to the knuckle
Under some circumstances  I suppose the upper arm could strike the frame. And yes, these parts can be "repaired" and come from a salvage yard!
For the upper arm to strike the frame I expect you would need a broken or severly weakened rear spring. I doubt a bad shock, would by itself, allow this to happen!
You really need to take a good look at the rear suspension..Get at least a Haynes or Chilton manual so you can identify the parts
