Default Delrin shift *****

I'm trying to get a forum vendor to make up some 2" round delrin shift *****. Delrin is great stuff for a shift ****, its cool in the summer and warm in the winter. He makes other styles, but not round *****. He claims there's not enough interest. So I'd thought I place this post, nothing like direct feedback! :D

I work enough with Delrin to think it would not make a great shift ****; it has a slippery, almost waxy feel to it. This makes it a great wear material for bushings, but not-so-good for gripping.
Warm in winter AND cool in summer? It may not conduct heat from, and to, your hand as quickly as aluminum will, but it gets just as cold/hot as anything else in the cockpit...
Besides, Hurst already makes a great shift **** that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Judging by the response, it doesn't look like the market is there for another C4 ****.
Now...the C5??? Those guys will buy anything!!!!!!!!

Doesn't Gary Hoffmann make those(or sell them)?

That's what I've got now.
Actually I have his and a t-handle shifter.
I put his back because the t-handle is cold in the winter.
The delrin **** works great temp wise, like I said cool in the summer, warm in the winter, it's an insulator.
But I like putting my hand over the shift ****, not around it, so I'm trying to convince him to make some different shapes.

What is the Hurst **** made of? I like that feel. And the black one looks cool.

I've got the Hurst shifter, but the t-handle is a B&M Hammer shifter.
Love the shape, but it's aluminum and it weighs a ton! Not great for doing fast shifts.

I'm not a fan of the "T" handle shift *****. Is that what the Delrin ***** are?

Kirban makes one that has the shift pattern in it. It is plastic but not delrin

Considering there aren't too many direct fit ***** available for the C4/C5, it would always be nice to have more available. I just bought a 2" round aluminum **** (for less than what the current Hardbar **** costs) so I would probably not buy a Delrin round **** right away. But I may consider one in the future.

It's an upright style, like on TransAm cars, Gary drives a GT1 ( ex TransAm ) car go figure.

I've got a newer style **** on it now, alot shorter than my old one.
