Default Intake pulling, injectors are tight!

How do you get the injectors out of the intake? The book just says to wiggle them and this frees up the seals as you pull the rails and injectors as a unit. Mine just doesn't want to release from the intake. Any suggestions?

While I'm at it, how does the clip work on the injectors, holds the wiring plug in place?

I placed a screw driver under the bottom of the injector and pryed up slowley and they poped right out. :thumbs:

Any help on the removal of the wiring to the injectors? How the clip works?

Thumb on metal clip. Finger on opposite side. Squeeze and pull away from inj.

Thanks. I figured it out. The clip is horseshoe shaped and you just push in and it releases. Nice design if you know how it works.

Hey Tom...Just push in on the wire clip and gently pull the connector off the injector. You can use needle nose to do this too and remove the wire completely.......however it isn't necessary. Pry up easy and evenlyon the fuel rail and they will break free. Your O ring seals are just old and tight. Oh yea, you did pull the 4 bolts on the fuel rail that hold it to the intake didn't you? :jester

Now the final "trick" is to push on the proper side of the clip that holds the injector in the fuel rail.

If you push on the tang so as to close the clip it won't break, if pushed on the other side it's easy to break it.
