Default suspension- how soft is soft?

My '89 came with the "nice ride" suspension. I'm not sure about the nice part. I find the ride a bit jittery but really don't know if it's the age of the shocks (possibly stock-92k miles) or if it's just supposed to be that way.
Any ideas? :steering:

Geez, slip some new shocks on then ask the question again. Stock shocks are usually gone in 50K miles.

o.k., just put the shocks on.....
I guess there's no such thing as a million mile shock, right?
Seriously, if only I knew for sure how old they were... :bb

When I'm working on my Vette, extra care is spent inspecting and checking each piece. Since there are no maintenance records and a 110K on the odometer, it’s assumed that every part is original. Therefore, a lot of parts are replaced. Are good parts being unnecessarily discarded? Maybe. But I now know the history on each and every part.
