Putting in the DRM brake bias spring, since I have the brake booster problem (waiting for it to arrive), and have th emaster cylinder off. Can a shop do this for me? Tools needed? Any pics ? Thanks, Steve

Not much to it.Just unscrew the front cap off your MC, pull out the old spring. The spring has a shaft running though it and a seal and E clip on one end.The hardest part is replacing the E clip once you put the new spring on the shaft. :chevy

hahaha yeah that clip gets the big thumbs down from me! :mad If you do it yourself make sure you in a very small room with no furnature because parts will going flying everywhere before you finally get it. :cuss :D I used a quick grip and a peice of metal to slowly push the spring and junk back in the cylinder so I could get the clip in. GOOD LUCK! its worth it.

lol yeah mien went flying too. I didnt have an eclip tool to remove it but i managed to do it. I swear for 2 minutes i cud have sworn somethng flew out but i didnt hear it land. it got stuck in the cieling in my garage !! :eek: be careful!! its a pain but i managed to get it back in. what a difference the bias spring makes tho :yesnod: :yesnod:

Do you have to bleed the system after you install one of these?
Good question, I have a VetteBrakes bias spring, just never installed it, was worried I would have to bleed the MC and wasn't exactly sure how you do that with it on the car?
