Power steering cooler failure
Has anyone experienced failures with C4 power steering cooler? My 95 developed a leak on the inlet line (rack outlet into cooler) where the aluminum line enters the finned area. The line was bent slightly at this point, but I just figured it got snagged on something.
Got a used replacement on Ebay, and found a crack in exactly the same spot. It appeared that the first one or two fins had broken loose from the tubing, and the rubbing in the broken area caused a hole.
Now, I'm realizing this is probably a design problem with anchoring the tubing. Anybody else see this trouble, and if so, how did you correct it?
